Old Wooden Horse Carriage
Ramnagar Fort stands quietly on the banks of the Ganga,
carrying centuries of stories within its sandstone walls.
Built in the 1700s by the royal family of Kashi,
the fort feels less like a tourist
spot and more like a living memory of Varanasi’s past.
The real charm of Ramnagar Fort is its peaceful riverside setting.
From the fort’s edge, the view of the Ganga is calm and wide,
especially during sunset when the sky turns golden. The place
becomes even more special during the famous Ramnagar Ramlila,
when the entire area fills with energy,
lights, and tradition that has continued for generations.
